As on previous occasions, 30 selected papers presented at LABAT’2008 will be published in a special volume of the Journal of Power Sources. An International Scientific Committee will select the papers to appear in the JPS. In order to facilitate this selection, authors are kindly asked to state explicitly whether they wish to have their paper considered for publication in the J. Power Sources. All papers to be included in the special JPS volume devoted to LABAT’2008 Proceedings will be subject to the standard, stringent, refereeing procedure of the Journal and will not be automatically accepted because they are part of the Conference. The papers, to be written in English language, must be submitted on-line to the Journal’s web-site. The submission deadline for the full text of the papers is 30 September 2008.
EXTENDED ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION
All full LABAT’2008 delegates will receive a copy of the Volume of Extended Abstracts of all contributions presented at the conference.
Authors are expected to submit a camera-ready Extended Abstract of their paper (four A4 pages, including figures) by 30 March 2008. Abstracts received after this date cannot be included in the Volume of Extended Abstracts, which must be submitted to the publishers in the beginning of April 2008. Below are the instructions for preparation of Extended Abstracts.
Instructions to authors for preparation of Extended Abstracts
All Extended Abstracts must be written in English. They should be formatted for A4 sized paper, leaving 2 cm margins on each side. Use single line spacing and preferably 12 pitch sized fonts, and do not divide the page into 2 or more columns. Leave two blank lines on top of the first page and type the title (in capital letters, centered), the name(s) of the author(s) followed by their affiliation and address. Leave two blank lines and start with the body of the abstract. Tables and figures must be embedded in the text. A list of references quoted or used should be given at the end of the Extended Abstract. Please, do not insert page numbers!
Extended Abstracts shall be submitted electronically (preferably as attachment in MSWord .doc or .pdf format) to Dr. Geno Papazov, e-mail: papazovg@bas.bg or on CD or floppy disk by post/courier. The CD/floppy disks should be mailed to:
